NWTEMC Proudly Announces This Year's
2014 1st Annual National Joint Tribal Emergency Management Conference

Northern Quest Casino and Resort
AUGUST 11th - 15th, 2014

Dear Emergency Management Friends,

Are you ready for this year’s biggest event? The National Tribal Emergency Management Council is proud to bring you the 1st Annual NTEMC Joint Tribal Emergency Management Conference, a partnership of Tribal Nations, Tribal Organizations, Federal, State and Local agencies from all across the U.S. With a full five days of offerings, this year’s conference will be a showcase of some of the best Tribal Emergency Management work and Best Practices in Indian Country.

This year, our first two days, August 11th and 12th, are reserved for training and hands-on workshops for our emergency managers and emergency management partners. FEMA will also be joining us for the first two days of this year’s conference providing the Emergency Management for Tribal Leadership Course. Other workshops will include NIMS, THIRA, GRANTS and the development of EM/HLS Plans and Documents.

On August 13th, our honored guests, distinguished speakers and featured vendors will join us for three full days of fun presentations, educational opportunities, and networking events that are guaranteed to keep you talking about this conference all year long. Steve Golubic, the Executive Director of the National Tribal Emergency Management Council will join the Board of Directors in providing updates, current news and future goals of the NTEMC. Guest speakers will present information on planning, preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery. FEMA, the US Department of Homeland Security, EPA, US Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice are just a few of our partners that will be joining us again this year.

To make our registration process easier than ever before, we have gone live, on-line, with the following application. Quick and easy! Simply click on the following link and fill in the attendee information, and you are on your way.
